"Lovely little diner for a Sunday adventure! We loved the nostalgic feel and the food! My husband brought out his ramp truck and drag car, Homegrown, for a very retro feeling pic! The service ladies were so nice and thoughtful as well and all the customers were so nice too!"

"This place is a lil slice of small town America. Been open 72 year at least the food was amazing my bacon cheeseburger was one of the top 3 ive ate in my whole life and the cheeseburger steak sandwich was beyond massive and tasted amazing. The staff was super friendly which added to the experience.if you have never been here i completely recommend it. They definitely just made me a repeat customer! They have a monster ice cream cone that is insanely huge if you want ice cream that have you covered."

"Great all American diner for hamburgers, fries and shakes. The Reese's shakes is especially thick and the flavor is exceptional."

"I love finding little drive-ins off the beaten path that are family owned and been around forever. My pictures are nothing fancy, but the cheeseburger, blackberry cobbler with hot fudge and peanut butter shake were delicious. The shake was the creamiest I've EVER had...sooo good!! The prices were very reasonable, as well. If I had one complaint, there were flies everywhere, and a pile of dirty dishes on the counter where you pay, but in all fairness, we were there during peak hours, and the door was open a lot. We waited, maybe 20-25 minutes to get a booth, so not terrible. The waitress was friendly and doing her best to serve us quickly. I'll definitely be returning and definitely recommend!"

"My husband and I had recently visited this restaurant while visiting the Gate City area, and had the most wonderful time. I could put their chilli on anything and the peach cobbler with vanilla ice cream is literally my favorite dessert EVER!!! Lee, our waitress, was extremely courteous, friendly, and just an amazing person in general to talk to. Even the other customers here were so welcoming. Would highly recommend The Hob-Nob Drive In."

"Having grown up in the area, I have heard about how good the Hob Nob is, but never tried it. It was definitely worth the wait. The food was delicious and home cooked. The restaurant was very busy, and the service was good and quick. They really know how to put out the food. The hamburger steak, slaw dog, and ice cream were delicious. I really liked the little salad bar. Hob Nob is definitely worth the drive."

- Chad B.

"Big, delicious hamburgers, hand pattied, fresh lettuce (not that awful bagged crap), tomatoes, onions, too many fries for my wife and myself to eat together. Great, quick service, considering it was made to order. Time has taken it's toll on the old building, but don't let that sway you from visiting. Oh, yeah, get there early. It is very popular in that area."
